Join us at the English Faculty Library for an in conversation relating to our current exhibition Paint Like the Swallow Sings Calypso. We will be examining the relationship between literature and the visual arts in the Caribbean Aesthetic. Speakers will be: Habda Rashid, Senior Curator, Modern & Contemporary Art at Kettle’s Yard and the Fitzwilliam Museum; Errol Lloyd, artist, writer, art critic and editor; Dr Julia Michiko Hori, Lecturer in Postcolonial and Caribbean Literatures at the University of Cambridge; Dr Malachi MacIntosh, Associate Professor in World Literature, University of Oxford.
