Only available to belfast residents only, working within the social care sector.

The HSC L5 programme is designed to help those working in a managerial role within the HSC arena to gain the necessary skills and experience required to safely and effectively manage a social care setting. It is designed to work alongside RQIA standards to help you meeting the criteria for registered manager.

Earners of this badge have learnt about the legal and regulatory basis for safeguarding and know the actions to take and procedures to follow when a safeguarding concern is raised. Earners understand the importance of a personalisation agenda when supporting individuals to develop the confidence to manage their own risks. Earners know the key step, in relation to safeguarding, is to work in partnership with other organisations in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for service users.
