Tees Valley New Creatives Member - Bronze

Earners of this badge are members of Tees Valley New Creatives and are newly trained creative professionals. Members have engaged in activity delivered by TVNC with creative sector professionals, designed to develop their understanding of freelance skills, work ethic and career opportunities, grow their professional networks, and equip them to secure a career in their creative field. TVNC activity ranges from networking events, masterclasses and workshops, to mentoring and internships.

Criteria

This badge is only available to Students, Members or Employees.

Earner has joined Tees Valley New Creatives. They have met the membership criteria by completing training in a creative specialism as part of the Class of 2020 onwards, undertaking their training (or living) in the Tees Valley, being 18+ and no longer in full-time education, and being ready to secure work in the creative and cultural industries.

Earner has actively participated in at least three Tees Valley New Creatives Networking Evenings, featuring talks, workshops and masterclasses delivered by employers and established professionals from the creative and cultural sector. Earner has developed their understanding of freelance skills, work ethic, creative practices, transferable skills and awareness of current creative industry needs, expectations and career opportunities, using activities, discussions and Q&A.

Earner has attended at least one in-person TVNC Social at a Tees Valley based venue, where they have connected with other members and a range of artists, practitioners, employers or wider professionals from the creative and cultural sector. Earner has demonstrated they can grow their career networks, share ideas / work, and explore professional opportunities to collaborate with others.

Earner has joined and observably contributed to at least one TVNC social media platform by creating relevant posts, sharing career related content, or regularly engaging with other members via comments on existing posts.
