Badge Nation – Quality Assurance Legend

Earners of this badge have successfully and consistently carried out Quality Assurance on new digital badges submitted by Badge Nation member organisations.

Criteria

This badge is only available to Students, Members or Employees.

Earner has reviewed new digital badge submissions from Badge Nation member organisations.

Earner has demonstrated an understanding of the RSA Badge Standard by ensuring that each new badge is mapped to the correct layer of Engage, Participate, Demonstrate or Lead.

Earner has demonstrated excellent written communication by proofreading badge submissions and editing them to fit with conventions, spelling and grammar.

Earner has demonstrated successful application of Badge Nation’s ‘Stranger Test’ to ensure that the badge is easily understood by someone that is unfamiliar with the issuing organisation or activities.

Earner has demonstrated knowledge of the appropriate use of skills tags by ensuring all skills tags are properly referenced in earning criteria, removing similarly named tags that cover the same skill, and supporting Badge Writers to get the most out of their skills tags.

Earner has supported the Badge Writer to make changes to their badges if the original submissions are not yet ready for publishing.

Earner has marked eligible badges as ‘Ready to Publish’ to enable the publishing process to begin.
