Earners of this badge have successfully participated in a course and have enhanced their life skills and improved their prospects of finding work. They have been able to assess their own skills and qualities, improved their verbal communication and become more self-aware. Earners understand the value of their own transferable skills to potential employers. Earners have also created a relevant and accessible CV.

Criteria

Earner has demonstrated self-awareness by using the National Careers Service online skills assessment to help understand their own skills, qualities and motivations, then discussed these with the Tutor.

Earner has identified and listed at least 5 personal transferable skills useful to a future employer.

Earner has taken part in the course and been involved in both group and paired discussions, demonstrating a willingness to learn and gather new information.

Earner has revised their Personal Statement in the light of what they have gained and learned during the course, demonstrating an ability to self-evaluate and recognise their strengths.

Earner has created an up to date and fit for purpose CV in Word, which can be tailored to different job opportunities.
