Earners of this badge have successfully enrolled on The Belfast Works project aimed at improving their employability skills. The project is tailored to support people into employment through a range of mentoring workshops. The workshops sessions include CV building and tailoring, employer application guidance and mock interview workshops. Earners of this badge have participated in a Belfast Works training program aimed at improving skills for there chosen career path.

Criteria

Earner has participated on Belfast Works receiving dedicated support from a mentor on CV building, highlighting the importance of tailoring a CV to job sector and employer role. Earner has also attended and participated on a training course. Earner has been provided with basic subject matter knowledge of the attended course required to progress into the sector of their desired employment.

Earner has attended a support session where they have participated in a mock interview session with their mentor aimed at improving their interview technique. Earner has been provided with information on interview etiquette including how to best prepare for an interview with an employer.

Earner has attended classroom sessions where they have taken part in a range of formal educational activities, developing there skills, building confidence and self esteem.
