Earners of this badge have undertaken a 10-week skills development programme which showcases the opportunities within Cornwall's tech sector and supports women into tech jobs or onto a training pathway towards a job in the tech industry.

Earner has attended online and in-person training sessions which focus on a range of technical areas including Data Analysis, Coding/programming, Software Testing, Networks and Connectivity and Cyber Security.

Earner has watched instructional videos online and completed activities for each subject area. For instance, for the Testing Session, earner watched instructional videos on testing and then created test criteria using BDD (Behaviour-driven development).

Earner has attended in-person sessions that supplement their online learning, delivered by industry professionals on their chosen subject. For example, a software tester ran BDD workshop.

Earner has enhanced their employability skills through online sessions and in-person workshops. These workshops focused on CV’s, Agile and LEAN life planning, ‘creating your personal brand’, and ‘recognising your own value’ (I am remarkable training - #IamRemarkable). Earner has also had the opportunity to meet employers associated with each ‘core’ topic.
