Earner has demonstrated their communication skills, knowledge and understanding of the structure of education from early years to post-compulsory education by delivering a presentation. In their presentation, earner covered the types of early years provision, key stages of the national curriculum and the ethos and values of an educational setting. Included in this presentation was an overview of the key roles and responsibilities of educational professionals, associated policies and procedures.
Earner has completed group activities and case studies to demonstrate effective team working principles and to explore and explain the role of effective communication.
Earner has submitted a written piece to demonstrate their understanding of educational ethos, missions, aims and values and how these are reflected in working practice. Earner has demonstrated their critical thinking and written communication skills.
Earner has shown their organisational and time management skills by producing a factsheet and a written piece to demonstrate their understanding of how to plan and provide environments that support children and young people’s health and safety, manage risks to health, and safety and security in a learning environment.
Earner has completed a risk assessment to demonstrate their understanding of how to support children and young people to assess and manage risk for themselves. Earner understands the dilemma between the rights and choices of children and young people, and health and safety requirements.
Earner has produced a resource pack to demonstrate their understanding of their role in assisting in the administration of medication and appropriate responses to accidents, incidents, emergencies and illness in the learning environment and during off-site visits. Earner has included the correct procedures to follow when recording and reporting an incident/administering medication.
