Bring I.T. On Ambassador

Earners of this badge have volunteered as Ambassadors for the Bring I.T. On Programme – an initiative funded by the Department for the Economy, to showcase the opportunities and benefits of careers in IT by raising awareness of the great diversity of options in this exciting and ever-changing sector. Ambassadors assist with industry events, speak at schools, attend job fairs and provide pro-bono support to encourage and inspire the next generation of IT talent in Northern Ireland.

Earner has volunteered their time and expertise to attend a Bring I.T. On careers event and speak with people about possible careers in IT.

Earner has acted as an ambassador for the programme by attending an event or conference on behalf of Bring I.T. On and delivered a talk/presentation on their personal learning/career journey in IT. By sharing their experiences, earner has shown their communication skills and has acted as a positive role model for those wanting to learn about careers in IT.

Earner has contributed to the marketing of the Bring I.T. On programme by providing a personal case study or quote for use in either printed or digital resources. These resources were aimed at informing young people, parents, teachers/carers, or careers staff on the range of learning and career pathways in the local IT sector.
