Earner has taken part in a workshop on creating a brand, connecting with customers, storytelling and disruptive marketing by Fran Morelli, Josh Watts and Rory McLaughlan. During the workshop earner has looked at how a brand isn’t just a logo, it’s an attitude, a personality and an experience. Earner has created a brand strategy for their business idea and have put a plan in place, for ensuring future customers and employees feel the brand within every interaction.
Earner has shown curiosity and reflective thinking by looking into big questions such as: Why do they want to start this business? Who are they doing this for? How to improve their organisational skills? By doing this, they are preparing for the future and building their confidence on their ideas.
Earner has prepared to gain feedback on their business’ ideas from Belfast’s consumers. Earner has prepared for this by creating their own questions on what the consumer feels about their business ideas.
Earner has looked at how to approach consumers, by building on their communication and interpersonal skills; they did this by creating an informal pitch and practicing with their peers, in order to ensure effective communication.
Earner has participated in a workshop on how to effectively create a rapport and establish trust with consumers. They havelearned about delivering with the correct tone, how to maintain positive body language, ways to ensure that they know their ideas inside out and the importance of always being polite.
Earner has taken part in 'Feet on the Street' - getting feedback on their business idea from Belfast’s consumers where they showcased their branding ideas and talking about their business canvas they created previously for their business idea.
Earner has used the data and feedback that they have gathered throughout the workshop to help inform what the next steps are, and what to do next. During the workshop, earner has also looked at pivoting and adjusting their business idea and, and has adjusted and solidified their business proposition.
