Earners of this badge have taken part in the Emerging Entrepreneurs Summer School Day 1 in which they explore the viability of entrepreneurship as a career, and have built the key skills required of them including Confidence, Resilience and Leadership.

Criteria

This badge is only available to Students, Members or Employees.

Earner has heard from local successful Entrepreneurs about their start up stories; this has demonstrated their listening skills and equipped them with the knowledge to apply to their own enterprise journey.

Earner has investigated what is holding them back from becoming an entrepreneur and self-reflected on why they want to start their own business.

Earner has participated in a talk by People Playbook. This talk consisted of learning more in depth about Confidence, resilience and leadership. Earner considered what these skills mean to them, how to develop the skills, and how they can use these skills in the future - whether this is through their own business or any workplace.

Earner has looked at viable business ideas and opportunities by working in groups to understand the problems consumers face and brainstorm ideas for businesses that could solve these problems and/or fill a need. This helped to improve their communication and team working skills.

Earner has looked at their motive and designed their life sprint by putting their next steps in place for their own personal development. Earner has committed to what they want to achieve, fuelled their determination, and put their all into their business ideas.
