Criteria

Earner has demonstrated their research, evaluation and literacy skills when compiling a written report summarising the key legal requirements covering the rights of children & young people, in a play context. Earner has evaluated different theories & models of good practice and explained how to apply these in their role. They have explained article 31 of the united nations convention on the rights of the child & its impact on play.
Earner has demonstrated their teamwork, communication & presentation skills when delivering a group presentation to their peers. As a team, they have worked together to evaluate the strategies, policies and procedures that underpin the rights of children and young people. Each member of the group explained one policy and how this would be put in to practice to protect the rights of a child/young person in a play work environment.
Earner has demonstrated their creativity, inclusivity and diversity skills when creating a 'top tips' poster for children & young people. The poster aims to help educate children/young people on ways to challenge barriers to inclusion. The poster also outlines the benefits of diversity and opportunities to value diversity in a play work setting.
