Earner has demonstrated their report writing and performance management skills by completing a report that explains the performance management cycle and how performance indicators can be used to measure effective practice. Earner has detailed a time when they have used effective performance management within their role and how this benefitted the service, as a whole, the staff member and the vulnerable adults in the setting.

Earner has demonstrated their communication and feedback skills when carrying out an observation of a staff member, completing a daily task with a service user, and provided constructive feedback to help improve performance. Earner has also given examples of when they have received feedback that helped to improve their practice and how this influenced their way of working and their management style.

Earner has demonstrated their self-reflection, evaluation, supervision and questioning skills by producing a reflective journal, where they evaluated their own practice, within a supervision session. They discussed their journal entries with other managers, in a group setting. They asked questions to their peers and answered questions about their own confidence and ability to manage the supervision process. They discussed how to continue to develop their supervision skills.
