Financial Crime and Escalations. Earners have learnt about risk management to safeguard the client and business by ensuring compliance with important, relevant legislation.

Earner has developed their knowledge of investment banking, financial markets and financial products. Earner has attended presentations on Fixed Income and Bonds, Commodities, Foreign Exchange, Derivatives, Settlements, Bank/Broker Chain and Equities. They have built a comprehensive product knowledge to enable them to effectively communicate with clients.

Earner has demonstrated adaptability and digital literacy by learning to use Microsoft Excel. They have successfully passed competency assessments on the use of essential functions they will encounter in their daily work, such as Excel short cuts, VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.

Earner completed a 2 hour course on the theme of Introduction to Accounting. Earner learnt the principle of "double-entry" accounting and completed a basic P&L Account and Balance Sheet. They have learnt the importance of full, consistent and accurate records to enable users to assess the financial performance of a company over a period of time.

Earner completed a 4 hour course on The theme of Life Cycle of a Trade. They have learnt about each stage of the cycle, from initiation of trade to final settlement. This helps build their understanding of the work completed by each specific team, and how the teams work together to deliver excellent client service.
