Earner has participated in a number of inspirational workshops, engaging with a range of employers and local community champions. They have actively listened to presentations and confidently asked questions about social action.
Earner has listened to the advice of community champions and gathered their own information about a product or service. They have worked together in a group, demonstrating teamwork and co-operation to plan their project. They have acquired knowledge about marketing their product successfully.
Earner has demonstrated effective numeracy skills when planning the budget for their project. They have developed financial awareness and problem solving skills when working out the costings of the project.
Earner has developed their understanding of a business pitch. They have demonstrated effective public speaking, presentation and communication skills when pitching their social action idea to a panel of experts. Earner has confidently conveyed information clearly, concisely, and accurately.
Earner has developed their literacy skills when creating written documents about their project, as well as the writing of speeches and presentations.
Earner has identified issues in their community and applied independent, innovative, and entrepreneurial thinking in order to plan and carry out a Social Action Project that instigates positive change in their community.
