Earners of this badge have participated in an experience to learn how recruitment works from the other side of the desk and play a role in hiring Managers for Lloyds. Earners have used their Skillsbuilder skills to decide who out of eight very diverse candidates is going to be the next greatest colleague hired.

Criteria

Earner has gained an understanding of recruitment processes and developed knowledge of how organisations identify suitable candidates for available positions.

Earner has shown critical thinking by reviewing at a range of CVs and discussing, in a small group, the strengths and areas of development for each candidate. They have given specific examples of where a candidate has met given criteria of the job role.

Earner has demonstrated step 6 of Listening skills, as defined by the Skills Builder Universal Framework, by actively listening to other group members when discussing who should be recruited. They have understood others' thoughts and taken on board constructive feedback where others have not agreed with their choice of candidate.

Earner has developed their confidence when working together in a group to decide which candidates should be hired. They have demonstrated step 1 of Speaking skills, as defined by the Skills Builder framework, by using teamwork and communication to complete a task effectively.

Earner has developed their own self-awareness by self-assessing themselves against the key skills set out in the task. They know what skills are strengths, and what they need to develop further. In doing this, they have shown step 4 of Staying Positive skills, as defined by the Skills Builder Universal Framework.
