Success Profile Framework for Civil Service

Earners of this badge have taken part in an interactive workshop to explore the recruitment and selection process across the Civil Service. This badge forms part of the Finance & Public Services pathway, for Key Stage 4 and 5 learners.

Criteria

Earner has listened to a presentation to develop their understanding of the diverse job opportunities and roles available in the Civil Service.

Earner has developed their communication skills by asking questions, joining in group discussions, and demonstrating their curiosity to explore future job prospects.

Earner has developed their knowledge of Civil Service recruitment and selection processes, including the five distinct elements of the Success Profile Framework: Ability, Technical, Behaviours, Strengths and Experience. They have gained an understanding of how the elements of this framework can be assessed to find the best candidate for a role.

Earner has participated in a practical activity to assess Strengths and Behaviours, in line with the Success Profile Framework. They have observed mock candidate responses to these two elements and used the scoring template to make a judgement. Earner has demonstrated effective listening, critical analysis and decision-making skills when judging the evidence presented.
