Communication & Interaction Training (CAIT) - Communication

The aims and objectives of the CAIT training is to explore features of the different types of Dementia, the use of non-drug treatments, de-escalation skills, widen knowledge and understanding of communication, enhance skills to help reduce behaviours that challenge.

Session 1: Communication focused on developing effective communication, adaptability, and management skills for supporting individuals living with dementia.

Criteria

Delivered onsite and in person. Session is interactive and applicant must be present for the full duration of the training session.
100% attendance and engagement within the session is required in order to earn the Certificate of Attendance.
