Supported Internship T1
This badge recognises the completion of the first term of a Supported Internship. In Term 1, participants are introduced to the basics of the working environment, learning essential employability skills such as communication, teamwork, and time management. The focus is on developing a core understanding of workplace expectations, building confidence, and exploring potential career paths. Participants will engage in both on-the-job training and classroom learning under supervision, laying the foundation for future terms.

Students of COPC and PCC Supported Internship programme
The participant must actively attend and engage with all classroom-based training sessions throughout Term 1. These sessions cover key skills necessary for workplace success, including communication, problem-solving, and teamwork. Evidence of attendance and active participation is required to fulfil this criterion.
The participant must successfully complete an Induction to both PCC and their future work placement, demonstrating their understanding of workplace expectations and the skills covered during the term. The assessment may include who to report to, travel training and health and safety in the workplace.
The participant must complete a supervised work placement during Term 1, which introduces them to real-world working environments. Performance will be evaluated by workplace mentors and a Job Coach, focusing on punctuality, teamwork, and the ability to follow instructions. Feedback will be provided to support improvement.
