Criteria

Participants are required to complete their final hours of workplace experience within a supported internship setting. This hands-on experience allows individuals to apply the skills they have learned in a real-world environment, under the guidance of a dedicated Job Coach. The purpose of this criterion is to provide participants with the opportunity to gain practical experience and build confidence in a work environment tailored to their specific needs and to begin job searching.
Formal assessments will be conducted to evaluate the participant's ability to apply the skills they have developed throughout the programme. This assessment will include Functional Skills Maths and English, as well as an Employability qualification. The goal is to ensure that participants have not only acquired the necessary skills but are also capable of applying them effectively in a professional setting, with a focus on long-term employability.
Participants must attend and complete a series of training sessions focused on workplace communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. These sessions will also explore employability and progression based units, including CV writing, how to find suitable job vacancies and how to complete detailed applications for roles of interest. Interview skills and techniques will also be covered to ensure learners are prepared to enter the workforce.
