Earner has learnt about the careers and technical education 8 essential skills advised by employers. Creativity and Innovation, Critical Thinking & Problem Solving, Communication & Collaboration, Flexibility & Adaptability, Initiative & Self-Direction, Social & Cross-Cultural Skills, Productivity & Accountability, Leadership & Responsibility. They gained an understanding of all the skills and explored how they can be used whilst discussing in their groups and actively listening
Earner has explored why the essential skills are important to employers and completed a group task , agreed by the group, to enable them to draw on their learning, critically thinking how they apply their essential skills in their task.
Earner has developed presentation and oracy skills, whilst informing other groups of their completed project task. The earner has gained an understanding about the annual student awards and the criteria applied which links directly to development of essential skills.
