Earner has shown a commitment to succeed in their career goals by attending a 6 week in-person Digital Skills workshop with a dedicated Beam caseworker. The workshop is tailored to the cohort's needs and goals, broadly covering the following topics: Introduction to Laptop Basics, Digital communications, Online safety, Employability, Financial Budgeting & Artificial Intelligence.

Earner has gained skills in Session 1 'Introduction to Laptop Basics', including laptop navigation, setup, hardware basics, and operating system fundamentals.

Earner has gained skills in Session 2 'Digital Communications', including logging into email accounts, writing and responding to emails professionally, hosting and participating in virtual meetings across Teams or Zoom.

Earner has gained skills in Session 3 'Online Safety', including creating strong and unique passwords, recognising and avoiding phishing attempts, downloading anti-virus, and how to be cautious with personal information on social media.

Earner has gained skills in Session 4 'Employability', including proficiency in using job search engines and online job boards and communication with potential employers including follow up emails, proper lighting, camera setup, and using video conferencing tools

Earner has gained skills in Session 5 'Financial Budgeting', including how to use excel to create and use a budgeting spreadsheet to manage finances.

Earner has gained skills in Session 6 'Artificial Intelligence', including how to use Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and crafting effective prompts.
