Work Experience
All pupils will independently secure a Work Experience placement within a local business. This process will enable pupils to research local businesses relating to their future Career opportunities.
This will provide pupils to work in an environment which differs from the school setting. After completing their Work Experience Placement, pupils will be provided with a statement from their placement of what they have achieved and identify their strengths. This statement can be used when applying for college places.

Learner has independently secured an external placement
Learner has completed placement over an agreed period of time
Learner has been punctual, showed independence, asked questions and listened to feedback throughout the placement
Learner has completed the work experience reflection workbook
Learner has received a positive reference from the employer
