Earners of this badge had an employer attend their key stage one and two school assembly, where they learnt key information relating to the visitors job, as well as taking part in a Q & A session.

Criteria

Earner has applied critical thinking when they prepared a number of questions supported by their teacher, to ask the employer about their job.

Earner has used active listening whilst the employer talked and advised about their job, the skills and the learning journey they took to realise their ambition. The earners used a variety of pre-prepared open and closed questions in the session.

Earner has demonstrated they can confidently recall jobs associated with the career sector, and demonstrated a better understanding of the skills and learning journey necessary.
