The badge signifies the individual's capacity to effectively convey and receive messages in a professional context, including the abilities to listen actively, articulate thoughts clearly, use non-verbal communication effectively, provide constructive feedback, and adapt communication style to different situations and audiences. The badge holder has also shown an understanding of the role of communication in maintaining a positive work environment and advancing organisational objectives.

Criteria

Demonstrated principles of workplace communication by engaging with a wide range of people using workplace communication practices within an organisation.

Understood the importance of feedback in a workplace setting and the impact this can have on business, demonstrated the ability.to give constructive criticism in a tactful and respectful manner

Participated in relevant employer work experience of at least 5 days, seeking feedback and making efforts to improve based on that feedback, and showing a consistent pattern of effective communication in a workplace context.

Demonstrated the ability to receive feedback in a positive way, using it as a tool for personal and professional development
