Film Production Master Class Yr11 – post16

Earners of this badge have completed an introduction to film-making workshop as a pre-requisite for the master class. Earners participating in this master class have followed a process of developing and creating content for a 1 minute film or video. Earners worked in small groups collaborating and sharing ideas for short film. drawing on previous knowledge earners chose the hardware and software programmes and needed little guidance. This badge forms a pathway in the creative industries.

Criteria

Earner has attended the "Unit" and were given a tour of the studios and were introduced to staff. Earners demonstrated a professional approach and actively listened whilst the task and session plan was explained.

Earner has formed small groups creating their team, they discussed their ideas within their groups collaborating, listening to each others ideas and making a decision of what to progress, this was the pre-production stage.

Earner has used equipment they were familiar with and were introduced to new hardware and software. Earners had to decide what equipment, methods, angles were to be incorporated. Earners were given time to develop and film their ideas.

Earner has to edit their films , add or remove sound using their chosen software agreed by the group, once completed they presented their films to their peers and other groups.
