The Working in Early Years badge was designed for individuals beginning their journey in understanding the landscape of early childhood education. It provided an overview of various early years settings and the diverse job roles within this sector. Participants engaged with five assessment tasks to meet the learning outcomes, gaining foundational knowledge crucial for anyone considering a career in early childhood education.

Criteria

Complete an introductory course on the types of Early Years settings available to young children, covering nurseries, preschools, and childminders.

Participate in five assessment tasks designed to evaluate understanding of the different job roles and responsibilities within Early Years settings.

Engage in discussions and activities to share insights and reflections on the learning material, fostering a community of practice among participants.
