Students accredited in Advanced PSP English have engaged fully with a rich and demanding A Level curriculum. They explored a wide range of texts across genres and periods — including Hamlet, Jane Eyre, Mrs Dalloway, A Streetcar Named Desire, The Merchant’s Tale, and postcolonial novels and poetry. Through weekly essay writing and seminar-style discussions, students built confidence in developing arguments, analysing writer’s craft, and exploring context and theme. Their coursework demonstrated independent inquiry through comparative study and research into critical interpretations and wider reading.
