Students accredited in Pathways PSP Chemistry engage confidently with the core principles of chemical structure, reactions, and quantitative analysis. Building on Combined Science foundations, they explore atomic structure, bonding, the periodic table, chemical energetics, rates, equilibria, acids and bases, and organic chemistry. Students carry out required practicals and use models, diagrams, and mathematical methods to explain chemical processes. By the end of the course, they demonstrate secure knowledge, experimental competence, and growing confidence in applying chemical concepts to unfamiliar situations.
