Advanced PSP Music - Perpetua
Perpetua students exhibit musical maturity, creative ambition, and initiative across all areas of the A Level course. Their performance work is refined, expressive, and often above Grade 8 standard; many play multiple instruments or contribute as accompanists or ensemble leaders. Their compositions are imaginative and well-developed, often including modulations, varied textures, and extended forms. They read and write about music with scholarly confidence, drawing comparisons across styles and evaluating music in historical and cultural context.
These students often mentor peers, initiate rehearsals, or support younger ensembles. They take part in competitions, regional ensembles, and outreach performances, demonstrating a visible and sustained contribution to the school’s musical ecosystem.
