The individual must prepare for the work experience by making practical arrangements, such as contacting the employer, planning the commute, managing time effectively, and mentally preparing for the new environment.
During the placement, the individual must actively engage by understanding and following instructions, demonstrating appropriate workplace behaviours, and showing a willingness to learn from colleagues.
After the placement, the individual must reflect on the experience, considering what they learned and how it informs their future steps, whether in further study, training, or employment.
