Silver QA Standard

This badge recognises professionals who have completed Navigatr's Silver Quality Assurance training for digital badge design. Recipients have demonstrated their ability to apply the 5-Step QA Process (Define, Write, Align, Review, Issue) and participate in peer review using professional quality criteria.

During the training, participants:

- Learned why quality-assured badges build employer and customer trust and credibility

- Practiced the 5-Step QA Process with expert guidance from Navigatr's QA team

- Engaged in peer review of badge designs using the Navigatr QA checklist

- Received personalised feedback on their own badge creation

- Demonstrated understanding of Navigatr badge framework alignment and metadata standards

- Recipients are equipped to apply QA principles to badge creation and support quality assurance processes within their organisations.

Criteria

Attended and actively participated in two live Silver QA training sessions (approximately 2 hours total) led by Navigatr's expert team, covering the 5-Step QA Process and quality principles for digital badge design.

Created or refined a digital badge in the Navigatr platform, applying the 5-Step QA Process (Define, Write, Align, Review, Issue) and completing the purpose definition questions.

Participated in peer review of at least one other participant's badge using the QA checklist, providing constructive feedback on criteria, learning outcomes, alignment, and metadata quality.

Received and incorporated expert feedback from Navigatr's QA team on their own badge design, demonstrating understanding of quality principles and willingness to iterate based on professional guidance.
