Professionalism in Practice

This badge recognised the learner’s understanding and demonstration of professional workplace behaviours and interpersonal skills. It acknowledged attendance at employability and soft skills sessions, practical demonstration of professionalism in simulated tasks or presentations, maintenance of a positive attitude and punctuality, and completion of a reflective self assessment that evaluated growth and areas for improvement.

Criteria

Attend a minimum of three employability and soft skills sessions covering communication, teamwork and time management. Learners were expected to participate actively and engage with facilitators and peers to show comprehension of core workplace behaviours.
Demonstrate professionalism in at least two simulated workplace tasks or presentations, including appropriate dress, respectful communication, clear delivery and constructive participation. Performance was assessed against a rubric to confirm consistent workplace conduct.
Maintain punctuality and a positive attitude across sessions and complete a reflective self assessment outlining personal strengths, challenges and an action plan for continued professional development. The reflection had to be submitted and reviewed by an instructor.
