Bronze QA: Certified

This badge certifies completion of Navigatr's Bronze QA Foundations Course and successful application of quality assurance principles to create a digital badge. Recipients understand why quality matters in digital credentialing, the five-step QA process (Purpose, Proof, Review, Launch, Improve), and the Navigatr Badge Framework. They have demonstrated practical ability to design credible badges through self-review and peer feedback. This certification represents entry-level competence in professional badge design and positions recipients to pursue Silver and Gold QA pathways.

Criteria

Complete all three Bronze QA modules: Watch approximately 45 minutes of video training. Pass Module 1 quiz with 100% accuracy, demonstrating understanding of why quality-assured badges matter, the three core benefits (security, validity, sharing), and how peer review builds credibility. Pass Module 2 quiz with minimum 80% accuracy, showing knowledge of the 5-step QA process and ability to recognise Navigatr Framework shapes and shading.

Apply learning through badge creation: Design an original digital badge using the Navigatr platform. Apply the complete 5-step QA process to your badge design. Conduct self-review using the Bronze QA checklist, ensuring consistency between description, skills, and criteria. Share your created badge in the private Bronze QA LinkedIn group for peer feedback and community learning.

Demonstrate understanding of: Why badge validity depends on the issuer's quality assurance processes. The difference between self-reviewed, peer-reviewed, and independently verified badges. How the Navigatr Badge Framework communicates type and depth of learning through visual design. The importance of consistency across badge elements for building employer confidence.
