Learners have demonstrated the ability to set up and use email, video calls and messaging apps, practise polite and safe netiquette, use mainstream social media responsibly, apply basic accessibility tools such as dictation and captions, and engage constructively in online communities for hobbies, learning and support.

They demonstrated kind and respectful online behaviour by using polite language, an appropriate tone, and suitable emojis.
Learners showed how to stay safe online by explaining what personal information should not be shared and how to recognise suspicious messages or links.
Evidence included a short reflection or a supported discussion showing safe and confident digital communication.
