Careers in the Music Industry

Earners have learnt about different job roles, and students participated in an information session about the music industry. They were also in conversation about the different skills that are desirable and essential. Earners watched a short video and presentation and learnt about various roles in the music other than creating music.

Earners participated in a Q&A session after listening carefully and interacting in a group exercise, that covered the music industry in general , organisations that are current, global organisations and local companies. This badge can be earned at Key Stage 3,4 or 5.

Criteria

Earners were introduced to Launchpad and advised what the session would involve. Earners listened carefully and prepare d questions about the presentation and information given.

Earner used groupwork skills to work together. In doing this they demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills. They used critical thinking when asking their questions during the session.

During the session the earner had to demonstrate creativity, social and cross-cultural skills, initiative and self direction. Transferrable skills such as communication and collaboration and developing confidence were also demonstrated.
