The Interledger Foundation is a nonprofit working to make financial systems open and fair at a global scale. It’s changing the way financial systems connect and work together by stewarding open, independently governed payment standards, including the Interledger Protocol and Open Payments. Since 2020, the Interledger Foundation has committed over $21M in grants across 300+ projects in 45+ countries.

Interledger Membership is a new way to connect with our global community, participate in activities/events, get exclusive member rewards, and help shape what the Membership program becomes.

Why should someone join?

CONNECT: Meet and stay connected with the Interledger team, developers, researchers, advocates, grantees, and others across our global community.

PARTICIPATE: Potentially get early access to events- virtual and in person. Opportunities like learning months, community activities, and information about grants.

REWARDS: Unlock member recognition, rewards, and swag for participating and contributing. Our first campaign is a holiday sticker and thank-you card design competition.

- attend an event

- join a community call

- join the community Slack

- participate in an online campaign [Example: learning month, etc.]

- contribute to code/ completes a pull request on GitHub

- sign up for our newsletter
