Earners of this badge have participated in a music workshop where they were given a task led by their teacher using CTE Curriculum and Pathways resources. Earners worked in groups and were given the task of composing and producing a 45-60 second piece of music in a style of their choice (e.g. pop, film, electronic) . This badge forms part of the preparation pathway for Broadcasting & Music Production

Earner has demonstrated a clear structure and development of musical ideas.

Earner was able to practice the many skills in editing and adding sound, and their interpersonal skills which include essential skills such as problem solving, thinking critically and creatively.

In completing this activity, earner demonstrated teamwork, communication and collaboration, cultural and social and leadership skills.

Earner has produced a piece music using instruments or other musical applications such as DAW and apply the musical elements such as, rhythm, melody, harmony, texture and of course structure.

Earner produced a composition plan, taking into account, style/genre, mood tempo and Instruments/sounds, ensuring it’s structure, intro, main section and ending
