LMP Warehouse Academy: Warehousing Skills

Earners of this badge have completed the five-day training week of the Warehousing Academy, delivered by the Ards and North Down Labour Market Partnership. Across the week earners have covered Academy induction and employer engagement, manual handling, health and safety in the workplace, COSHH, and first aid at work, giving them the core safety and compliance knowledge required to work in warehousing, storage and logistics.

Earner has completed the Academy welcome and induction day, covering the structure of the Warehousing Academy, registration and walkthrough on Navigatr, and an employer engagement session where supporting employers outlined their organisations and the roles available on completion.

Earner has completed Manual Handling training, focusing on the safe lifting and handling of loads within industry.

Earner has completed Health & Safety in the Workplace training, including workplace requirements, hazards and risks.

Earner has completed COSHH training, covering the safe awareness and handling of dangerous and hazardous substances.

Earner has completed First Aid at Work training, giving practical knowledge of how to respond to a range of first-aid scenarios.
