Annual Safeguarding Training
Claimed
Our annual safeguarding training allows our staff members to develop their knowledge on different safeguarding topics which they can utilise in their every day work with children, young people & adults at risk. The training also delves into different areas of abuse that can impact & affect the way a person behaves in their day-to-day life.
We want this training to upskill our staff members on how to spot signs of abuse, respond to safeguarding disclosures and to take the correct actions through reporting on the safeguarding system called MyConcern.
The training is divided into six sections.
Section 1: An introduction to Safeguarding at the Leeds United Foundation
Section 2: Types of abuse & ACES
Section 3: Identifying a concern
Section 4: Responding to a concern
Section 5: How to report on MyConcern
Section 6: Your safeguarding responsibilities
