Open Payments Hackathon 2026 | Participant

This badge was issued to Jose Ríos on 23 October 2026.

This badge recognizes participation in the Open Payments Hackathon, held October 16–17, 2026, in Medellín, Colombia, and organized by the Interledger Foundation.

The hackathon brought together developers, designers, entrepreneurs, students, and innovators to explore how Open Payments and Interledger technologies can help address real-world financial challenges.

Participants were challenged to think creatively, collaborate with others, and develop innovative solutions using Open Payments, an open API standard that enables applications to send, receive, and manage payments across different financial networks. They hacked over a 24 hour period to develop a working payment prototype on Interledger Foundation’s Test network, and presented their project to two rounds of judges.
