Criteria

Earner has project-managed and evaluated a Mock Court Trial event working closely through a coordinator with Young Citizens. They have liaised with various external stakeholders such as HM Courts & Tribunals Service, Young Citizens, Bench Chair and Dignitaries, Young People and Bradford Council to ensure successful delivery of the Mock Trial.
Earner has spent 3-4 hours preparing for their active role in the Mock Trials by reading case materials, attending briefing sessions, and liaising with schools to provide support in preparation for their competition. They have demonstrated excellent skills in active listening, communication, and the ability to work as a member of a team.
Earner has demonstrated a willingness to volunteer beyond their role as a Magistrate or Legal Advisor to educate and inspire young people. They have shared their skills and knowledge to lay the foundations of understanding the justice system, and influenced the next generation of legal professionals.
