Only available to belfast residents currently employed and wishing to upskill to apply for a "better job".

Earners of this badge have demonstrated the knowledge and understanding required to support the safeguarding of children in all areas of the service including e-safety. Earners have developed their awareness of the types of abuse, and the signs and symptoms of abuse. Earners have demonstrated that they know how to record, report and respond to a safeguarding concern in a childcare setting.

If you enrol on to the academy, you will work towards achieving a Level 3 qualification in Childcare Learning & Development which will enable you to apply for roles as a qualified childcare assistant and room supervisor. You will also receive employability support and mentoring throughout the duration of this programme.
