Tees Valley New Creatives – Silver

Earners of this badge are members of Tees Valley New Creatives and are newly trained creative professionals. They have engaged in activity delivered by TVNC with creative sector professionals, designed to develop their understanding of freelance skills, work ethic and career opportunities, grow their professional networks, and equip them to secure a career in their creative field. TVNC activity ranges from networking events, masterclasses and workshops, to mentoring and internships.

Earner has independently researched, organised their attendance and participated in at least one non-TVNC organised CPD event or activity to help advance their creative career. They have shared evidence of the experience, feedback or outcomes they gained via their TVNC Talent Directory profile and/or TVNC social media platforms/member e-newsletters.

Earner has used their skills, industry understanding and work ethic to secure paid professional work through at least one freelance, payroll or commission based role in the creative and cultural sector. They have shared evidence of this career experience via their TVNC Talent Directory profile and/or TVNC social media platforms/member e-newsletters.

Earner has applied their skills in a real world environment by engaging in at least eight TVNC CPD activities, events or career opportunities. These could involve: TVNC Networking Evenings, TVNC Socials, Network Builder Get Togethers, TVNC Career Surgeries, TVNC Mentorships, TVNC Internships, TVNC Work Experience, applying for a TVNC CPD Bursary, featuring in public marketing for TVNC, applying for exclusive TVNC paid commissions / freelance work, or engaging in additional TVNC opportunities.

Earner has contributed to the TVNC community by consistently creating/sharing appropriate and engaging content on at least one TVNC social media platform. They have used their communication, networking and interpersonal skills to encourage other members to interact with posts, whilst maintaining a safe online space.
