Earners of this badge have completed Level 1 in First Aid where they have developed their understanding of First Aid procedures, all earners have completed a series of actives for assessment where they have been accessed on learning and received feedback on practical and written tests. upon completing this course all earners are aware of the roles and responsibilities of a First Aider.

Earners of this badge have learned how to manage a causality demonstrating competency in first aid procedures, within this learning they are now able to assess an incident to assess if the patient is responsive or unresponsive. Earners have the knowledge to check breathing and move to the recovery position and where necessary conduct cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Earners of the course are equipped with the skills to deal with patients who are in chock and have external bleeding including minor issues.
All earners have completed workbooks and practical assessments which have been submitted to the CIEH and have passed the CIEH standards.
