Earner has developed knowledge of Anti-Discriminatory Practice. They have understood that by working in a way that values all H&SC service users and their differences, practitioners can treat everyone they care for fairly and equally.
Earner has developed knowledge of the importance of Effective Communication. They have understood that by adapting their communication to the needs of a particular service user, they can successfully respond appropriately.
Earner has developed knowledge of the importance of Empowering and Promoting Independence. They have understood how, as a service provider, they can empower the lives of service users by supporting them to have control over decisions about their lives and to do things by themselves.
Earner has developed knowledge of the importance of Maintaining Confidentiality. They have understood the importance of keeping information about service users private, including details of their health condition or treatment, and personal information such as address or religion.
Earner has developed knowledge of the importance of Preserving Dignity. They have understood that by supporting service users to feel good about themselves, they can promote positive feelings of self-worth and avoid embarrassment or shame.
Earner has developed knowledge of the importance of Respect for Others. They have understood that H&SC practitioners do this by considering the feelings, wishes, and rights of the service users that they are caring for.
Earner has developed knowledge of safeguarding. They have understood how H&SC practitioners adhere to their Duty of Care by working in ways that ensure service users are not put at any risk of harm.
Earner has developed knowledge of the 6 C’s which include; Care, Commitment, Communication, Compassion, Competence and Courage. They have understood that H&SC practitioners need to demonstrate all 6 of these values to ensure an appropriate level of care for all service users.
