Adult Social Care Careers Exploration & Preparation for KS4 Students

The Careers and Technical Education team at SkillsHouse in collaboration with, The Bradford Care Association, Skills For Care, Bradford District Care Trust and a range of Social Care providers have created this pathway which provides a route into the adult social care sector for individuals considering a career in health and/or social care or those returning to work after a career break.

The pathway provides an opportunity to develop your employability skills before then growing your knowledge about the health and social care sector. Beneficiaries of the pathway will then have the opportunity to develop technical and specialist Health and Social Care skills such as developing a knowledge and understanding of the ‘Care Values’ before then applying to Volunteer within the sector.

This pathway is open to Bradford, District and Craven residents and is aimed at students in Years 9 to 11 in secondary school. To find out more information and how you can get started on the next step in your career please contact: BradfordCTE@bradford.gov.uk or ask your education provider to book on via the SkillsHouse Portal: https://portal.skillshouse.co.uk/
