Earner has completed all mandatory Trust training including Roles and Responsibilities, Communication Skills, Data Security Awareness for Volunteers, Conflict Resolution for Volunteers, Equality, Diversity and Human Rights for Volunteers, Safeguarding Adults for Volunteers, Safeguarding Children for Volunteers, Preventing Radicalisation (Basic Awareness) for Volunteers, Mental Health Awareness for Volunteers, Health, Safety and Infection Prevention and Control for Volunteers, and Fire Safety.
Earner has gained the National Volunteer Certificate (NVC) and completed a mandatory volunteer induction. The NVC demonstrates that earners have undertaken quality theoretical training and applied this to 60 hours of volunteering. They gained the NVC after evidencing 6 core standards which include an understanding of Roles & Responsibilities, Communication skills, Respect for Everyone, Safeguarding, Mental Health, Dementia & Learning Disability and Health & Safety.
Earner has demonstrated commitment to upholding the Trust’s values, which are ‘We care’, ‘We value’, and ‘We are one team’. They have evidenced these values during a minimum of 60 hours volunteering, supporting the Trust to provide outstanding care for patients that is delivered with kindness.
Earner has demonstrated excellent communication and collaboration skills when required to work with colleagues and patients. They have successfully utilised their Critical thinking and problem solving skills when dealing with complex challenges. They have also demonstrated social and cross-cultural skills to remain flexible and adaptable in challenging situations.
Earner has demonstrated initiative and self-direction. They have shown they understand accountability and can effectively manage their own time and productivity.
