Earner has participated in a medical careers awareness workshop to increase their employability and gain knowledge of different entry routes into careers within medicine.

Earner has increased their knowledge of the roles and duties of different medical professions by listening to talks and engaging in a question-and-answer sessions with professionals including consultants, junior doctors, and medical students.

Earner has participated in a success in medicine workshop where they engaged with eight foundation doctors and medical students, as well as more experienced clinicians across Bradford Teaching Hospitals. They have gained medical communication skills and developed understanding of different medical roles and career journeys.

Earner has developed awareness of healthcare skills by participating in a patient journey workshop, exploring the process that patients follow from primary care through to hospital treatment.

Earner has participated in an infection control workshop where they gained knowledge and practical medical skills regarding how to limit the spread of infectious diseases.

They have spoken with university students currently enrolled to study medicine, gaining insight into their medical courses and how to successfully apply for them.
