Royal Navy Sports Day (Primary)

Earners of this badge have engaged in fun physical activities whilst introducing them to the values & teamwork spirit of the Royal Navy. Earner have taken part in navy themed activities that link to royal navy's maritime traditions with fun games including obstacle courses and team rowing simulations. Earners have taken part in activities that are inclusive to their abilities and modified where needed. This digital badge forms part of Public Services & Law Pathway and is eligible for Primary.

Criteria

Earner has participated in a fun sports day event hosted by Royal Navy including a mixture of traditional sports such as running, races, relay races and navy inspired activities such as obstacle courses & tug of war.

Earner has taken part in navy themed activities like 'ship to shore' or 'captain's orders' similar to Simon says that link to the Royal Navy's maritime traditions. Earner has taken part in obstacle courses simulating naval training exercises, including crawling under nets, balancing on beams and jumping over small hurdles.

Earner has taken part in lightweight props to simulate rowing teams where working together to row the boats across a field. This reinforces teamwork and coordination.

Earner has understood the royal navy values such as courage, commitment, respect and discipline whilst taking part in the activities and behavior expectations.

Earner has taken part in activities that are inclusive and adaptable to their individual needs including those with physical limitations or learning challenges such as being time-keepers or helping organise the teams.
